2. IRRITANT PLANET KEY
a. allergic contact dermatitis- only effects someone who has acquired a reaction to a certain chemical.
B. irritant contact dermatitis- will effect everyone if enough of the chemical is present.
c. photodermatitis- can effect anyone but only when the chemicals is a plant come into contact with the skin during or just before exposure to sunlight.

2. לשטוף את הפה במים או חלב, פעולה זו תקטין את הטעם וגם הגירוי- לא לבלוע

2. Rinse with water or milk which will also diminish taste and irritation- do not swallow
|

3. לשתות חלב או חלבון ביצה לא מבושל או להכניס אצבע לגרימת הקאה
|
3. Induce emesis by inserting a finger into the back of the throat, or by drinking milk or the uncooked white of egg.

|

4. Identify the plant, and the amount that was eaten.

3. Milled itching can be releved with application of calamine lotion.

אקוניטום
כל חלקי הצמח רעילים אם הם נאכלים. התסמינים עלולים לכלול תחושת צריבה בפה ובגרון ולאחריה בעיות בשרירים. יש להימנע מהתעסקות ממושכת, שכן הרעל יכול להיספג דרך העור. גירוי בעור עלול להופיע אחרי מגע ממושך ותדיר.

Aconitum nappellus (Monkshood) B
All parts of this plant are poisonous if eaten. Symptoms can include a burning sensation in the mouth and the throat, followed by muscular problems. Avoid over handling as the toxin may be absorbed through the skin. A skin rash can show after regular and continuous contact.

לוף איטלקי
הפירות האדומים רעילים אם הם נאכלים. התסמינים כוללים נפיחות בשפתיים, בפה ובלשון. מגע עם השרף (המוהל) כמו שפשוף בעור או בעיניים עלול לגרום דלקת.

Arum italicum B
The red berries are poisonous if eaten. The symptoms include inflammation of the lips, mouth and tongue. Contact with the sap such as rubbing the skin or eyes can cause inflammation.

Atropha bella donna(Deadly nightshade) B
All parts are poisonous if eaten. Symptoms include a dry mouth, flushing of the face, dilation of the pupils of the eye and a rapid pulse.

Toxins contained in the flowers and seeds/ irritate the lining of the mouth if eaten.

Dature (Brugmansia) (Angels' Trumpets) B
All parts poisonous if eaten. Symptoms include excitement followed by high blood pressure, fast heart beat and dilation of the pupils.

All parts poisonous if eaten, more especially the seeds. Symptoms include a burning sensation in the mouth, vomiting followed by stomach pains and diarrhea. Sap may cause blistering and dermatitis.

All parts poisonous if eaten. Symptoms include a burning sensation in the mouth, vomiting, salivation and difficulty in swallowing. Sap may cause inflammation externally and contact with the eyes should be avoided.

דיגיטליס (אצבעונית)
כל החלקים רעילים, כולל עשן משריפת עלווה. התסמינים כוללים בחילה, כאבי בטן, כאבי ראש ודופק איטי ולא סדיר. הטעם מר ועלול לגרום להקאות מיידיות.

Digitalis purpurea (Foxglove) B
All parts poisonous including smoke from burning foliage. Symptoms include nausea, abdominal pain, headache and a slow irregular pulse. The taste is bitter which can cause immediate vomiting.

כל הזנים רעילים מלבד חלבלוב הדור. אם טועמים את השרף/המוהל הלבן עלולים לחוש צריבה בפה ואם בולעים אותו, קלקול קיבה. השרף במגע עם העור יגרום לגירוי.

Euphorbia (Milkweed) C,C3
All species are poisonous with the exception of Euphorbia pulcherrima. The white sap if tasted can cause a burning sensation in the mouth and if digested an upset stomach. The sap on the hands may cause skin irritation.

Gloriosa superba (Glory lily) B
All parts of this plant are poisonous. This is rare but it can cause cramp, vomiting, numbness of tongue and lip, fast heart rate and low blood pressure.

Hedera helix (English ivy) C,C1
All parts are poisonous especially young leaves and the berries. If eaten they cause burning in the mouth and throat. External contact can cause a skin irritation.

Hellebotus (Christmas rose) C
All parts poisonous and Symptoms include stomach upset and a tingling sensation in the mouth and throat. Care should be taken to ensure that the sap does not reach the eyes.

Laburnum anagyroides (Golden chain) B
All parts are poisonous especially the seeds. Symptoms include vomiting, drowsiness, headaches and rapid heartbeat.

כל החלקים רעילים. אכילת הגרגירים עלולה לגרום הקאות ושלשולים. התעסקות עם הצמח עלולה לגרום דלקת עור קלה.

Lantana B
All parts are poisonous. Eating the berries can cause vomiting and diarrhea. Handling may result in mild dermatitis.

הרדוף
כל החלקים רעילים. התסמינים כוללים קהות הלשון, בחילה והקאות. יש בצמח רעלי לב הדומים לאילו שנמצאים באצבעונית.

Nerium oleander (Oleander) B
All parts are poisonous. Symptoms include numbness of the tongue, nausea and vomiting. Heart toxins similar to those found in Foxgloves.

העלים, הגרגירים והצוף רעילים. התסמינים כוללים קלקול קיבה ולאחריהם רפיון שרירים. הגרגירים חריפים וקשה לאכלם.

Pernettya mucronata
The leaves, berries and nectar are all toxic. Symptoms include upset stomach followed by muscle weakness. Berries and acrid- hard to eat.

גירוי בעור כתוצאה ממגע עם חלק כלשהו מהצמח, תחושת צריבה ולאחריה פריחה. הסם האלרגי המרוכז ביותר נמצא בבסיס כל תפרחת.

Primula obconica (Primrose) B1
Skin reaction from touching any part of the plant with burning sensation followed by a rash. The allergens occur in the highest concentration at the base of each bloom.

דובדבן העריים
כל החלקים מלבד עסיס הפרי מכילים רעל ציאניד. התסמינים כוללים הקאות, כאב ראש, רעד. הרעלים מתנדפים באוויר על כן יש להימנע מאחסון הגיזומים במקום סגור. מגע עם האור לא יגרום נזק אך יש להיזהר ממגע בעיניים

Prunus laurocerasus (Cherry laurel) C
All parts excepting the fruit flesh contain cyanide poison. Symptoms include vomiting, headaches, shivering, the toxins are volatile so ensure that pruning are not stored in a confined space. Skin contact is unlikely to be harmful but avoid contact with the eyes.

Picinis communis (Castor-oil plant) B
All parts are poisonous. The seeds are highly colored and attractive to children. Symptoms can be serious and can cause circulatory collapse. Long contact with the leaves and seeds may cause irritation and allergic dermatitis.

כל החלקים רעילים במיוחד הגרגרים הנוצצים. ייתכן שהתסמינים לא יופיעו מיד אבל הם גורמים להקאה, שלשול וכאב גרון. מי שאכל פירות בוסר זקוק לטיפול רפואי מיידי.

Solanum B
All parts are poisonous especially the bright berries. Symptoms may not show immediately and are confined to vomiting, diarrhea and sore throat. Eating of unripe berries needs immediate medical treatment.

כל חלקי הצמח רעילים פרט לחלק האדום שבפרי. הפירות רעילים רק אם הזרעים נלעסים. הסימפטומים כוללים בעיות לב ונשימה. מגע ממושך עלול לגרום לגירוי בעור.

Taxus baccata (Yew) B
All parts are poisonous but not the red part of the fruit. The berries are only poisonous if the seeds are chewed. Symptoms include heart and respiratory problems. Prolonged contact may cause skin irritation.
